LGBTQ and gender

It is wrong our tax dollars go toward overseas LGBTQ operations instead of infrastructure, welfare at home etc. That is is western imperialism and thus wrong. The US has no fight to tell other countries how to act on social issues

My views on LGBTQ issues generally match Sameera Khan and Max Blumenthal’s views on LGBTQ issues

I will always stand with the LGBT community against discrimination  sameera

I am not a LGBTQ ally because LGBTQ is a Neoliberal front and I am Anti Neoliberal. If you think that means I son’t support LGBTQ rights, I won’t stop you from believing that, you have a right to believe what you want  anti lib aktion

In the 2000s I did not support same sex marriage since I didn’t think think the time was right for itvand that it should be left up to the states bernie

I am glad the Defense of Marriage act was overturned

The love wins everywhere message but is a bit excessive unnecessarily provocative   samera

I am between being fourth political position on transgender rights and me saying that insitutionally/systematically I support the early 2020s status quo for transgender rights and I insitutionally/systematically don't think we should do anything more to advance transgender rights

However, I do have a few left-right spectrum positions on a few specific transgender issues as mentioned below

I empathize with Radical Lesbian feminist and similar feminist hostility to trans people. In particular I empathize with these views of theirs:

Trans people facilitate gender norms which breed sexism and more against women and trans people give off ‘we are dupes’ vibes.

Trans people engage in savage body mutilation (ie sex reassignment surgery which if it is really violence must be confronted) which deeply concerns me. It is wrong for young women for example who may one day be feminists to get sex hormones as a child to be a boy, never getting a chance to break the male patriarchy as a biological female feminist

The whole big med are trying to medicalize gender identity and normalize it and that is wrong on so many levels.

If we are trying to destroy the patriarchy which we should, making women in man’s image (trans women) is an impediment to that at worst and complicates that at best. It gives biological men an anti feminist ally (trans women) which makes it harder for women to destroy the patriarchy to make all sexist men to be non bigoted toward women since feminists have to fight two fronts (trans and men). Even if that its the opposite and trans women give guys their own ideal women causing guys not be sexist that only is a bandaid since we’d still have our patriarchal system and when men turn ob tr

Maybe in the 19th century or early to early mid 20th century men ‘making women in their image’ could have forced men to not be sexist long enough to maybe pass the ERA due to creating their ideal women (trans women) but that ship had long sailed and we need to move forward instead of going backwards by destroying the patriarchy that has men create women in their sexist image. Trans people need to find different and new ways to help us do that    new right

It is almost sick if you look at it that way (not that we should, just saying). Trans people appropriate women’s bodies and non intrusively assault (ymmv) women by becoming a women merrily by cosmetic or a few mutalating changes.

Trans people need to change our society, not their bodies. Being a woman is not a feeling, there is more to that. Women are oppressed due to biology, not identity

Moreover trans people are trying to erase lesbians which is wrong so Radical Lesbian Feminists and similar feminists fighting against trans people is a way to prevent lesbian erasure.

Let’s never forget that HRC Remember gave an award to Goldman Sachs right after the foreclosure crisis  max b

Liberals are now making shirts which say “the 2 places you can’t say gay Florida and Russia”. That is the state if the modern liberals today. max b

I am fine with funding Planned Parenthood for non abortion or emergency abortion (including for rape incest or to save the life of the mother)  situations
If feminism doesn't overcome Neoliberalism and Capitalism and break down the patriarchal system, it is incomplete and futile. We need to change the model of our system for people of all sexes/genders instead of having institutional parity for women. That is much better than parity and liberal feminism which gives women a false sense of equality and cause feminists to get complacent. If we do not  change the model of accumulation, generation of wealth, how we distribute wealth, the value of work and abolish the patriarchal system, we will not have justice and true equality for women

Interdifferentialist ideology is a twisted form of male dom and it is wrong because it neutralizes sexual differences and thus is just as prejudicial against women as traditional sexism. It is wrong because it means that women are forced by men to shed their femininity so they can be accepted into the arena of public life .Women should be fully accepted in the arena of public life with their femininity otherwise it is sexism
Universalist feminism falls into a trap by saying gender is a social construct since that is playing into masculine values. I support differential feminism where sexual difference plays a public domain role and upholds feminine rights. This is good because it recognizes both sexes by acknowledging the equal value of their distinct and unique traits. This is why I sympathize with fellow Left Wingers who complain about Feminizing men and masculinizing women.  new right

If I was born in the early mid 21st century, mid 21st century, late 21st century etc, I would be even more liberal on feminism and woman’s rights even than I am now since I’d be more native to it. I am tempted to say that maybe I wish women in the US in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s decade could have had the type of equality that women in the US have in the 2020s, 2030s, 2040s etc

I have no opinion on the 1970s 1980s ERA because at the time I was a kid and I was apolitical on politics. I don't think that bill should be brought back. It was defeated when I was a kid, Walter Mondale was not elected so he couldn't implement it so that's that.

I do not support Me Too because Me Too are a Neoliberal front and I am Anti Neoliberal
